The University of Ô°ÇøÒùÂÒ's governance structure is comprised of a number of authoritative bodies.

The University governing instruments (Charter, Statutes, Ordinances and General Regulations) provide for and empower each of these bodies to fulfil a distinct role in our governance framework.

In addition to this framework, there are two key, largely ceremonial roles at the University:

  Chancellor

  The Chancellor (Nazir Afzal OBE) is the ceremonial head of the University and chairs the General Assembly.
