Our Political Science courses are specialised across six areas of national and international political theory, which are: Democracy and Elections, European Politics and Policy, Governance and Public, Policy Political Theory, Philosophy and Human Rights.

You can tailor your degree to your future ambitions by choosing our standard route for a career in industry, or our research route for further academic study.

Our Politics department is one of the largest in the country, and one of the UK’s top universities for Politics. Our graduates go on to work for top employers in areas such as government, finance, consulting and academia.
