We’re one of only five UK National Research Libraries and one of the best-resourced academic libraries in the country.  

We work with course leaders to provide easy access to the books and resources you need for your master’s degree. If we don’t have the resource you need, we’ll order it for you, you can:

Our study spaces

We have  located across campus that offer fast, reliable Wi-Fi, individual study spaces and group study rooms, including:

  •  – a state-of-the-art flexible study environment.
  •  – hosting special collections in the humanities and sciences.
  •  – a specialist library focusing on race, migration and ethnic diversity.

Training and skills support 

Our is designed to help you get the most out of your course. We offer face-to-face workshops and online resources on a variety of relevant topics, from improving your study and research skills to specialist areas like copyright, referencing and advanced searching. 

My Learning Essentials

You'll have access to the Library’s skills programme, , which provides workshops and online academic, employability and wellbeing support. 

The programme will help you to develop the skills you’ll need to complete your course, including how to research, reference and write in an academic style.
